About Felicia

I primarily use a person-centered approach to my work, as I value the development of an individual’s self-concept and self-worth. My sessions are always approached with empathy, enthusiasm and creativity. I received a Master of Social Work from Simmons University and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker.

Last year, I moved from Boston to sunny California for a change in scenery and to support my family’s dreams. I will be accepting California residents in addition to continuing my work with folks from Massachusetts soon! Outside of work, I’m usually found singing along to the latest Taylor Swift album, gardening, hitting the beach, planning our next vacation, or creating some form of magic through art.

More About My Experience

I have worked with adult individuals in my clinical practice for over 4 years. I have over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field with people of all ages and over 20 years of experience working with teens and young children, including a variety of jobs and settings such as individual counseling, day treatment center, residential center, therapeutic school, group home for LGBTQIA+ adolescents, juvenile court clinic, child care agencies, and community-based services (intensive care coordination, in-home family therapy and therapeutic mentoring).

After graduate school, I assisted in opening a new location of Riverside School & Life Skills Center in Milford, MA where I facilitated group therapy with adolescents for over 6 years.
